Role Responsibilities

The definitive structure and command hierarchy for all our CC operations.

01. CC Supervisor

Primary Role: Oversight & Authority

  • Final decision-maker for convoy planning.
  • Approves route, timing, and CC deployment.
  • Monitors overall convoy and CC performance.
  • Intervenes only in critical situations.
  • Handles disciplinary actions if needed.

02. CC Leader

Primary Role: Command & Coordination

  • Acts as the central control unit of the convoy.
  • Does NOT have to be the front truck.
  • Coordinates all CC members throughout the convoy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assigns positions to CC members before convoy start.
  • Gives all operational commands: Move / Stop / Slow / Regroup.
  • Maintains communication discipline on voice.
  • Receives updates from CC members and makes decisions.
  • Adjusts convoy flow based on: Traffic, Incidents, Route conditions.
  • Ensures no confusion between CC members.

03. CC Members

Primary Role: Execution & Field Control

  • Follow CC Leader instructions strictly.
  • Handle: Intersections, Blocking traffic when required, Maintaining convoy structure.
  • Report real-time updates to CC Leader: "Rear clear", "Traffic incoming", "Accident at middle".
  • Assist with: Rejoining vehicles, Managing gaps or splits.
